Secondary Consultation

TSAS offers a free secondary consultation service for professionals who are seeking advice, information and guidance regarding a sexual abuse or sexual violence concern with one of their service users.  These consults will be conducted by a skilled specialist sexual assault practitioner.

Training and Professional Development

TSAS is committed to building knowledge, capacity and competency of professionals to work effectively to prevent and respond to sexual violence of children, young people and adults.

Trauma Informed Practice Education

Many survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence report re-traumatisation when engaging with service providers and service systems.  TSAS is committed to work towards all services and community spaces being trauma informed to support the healing journey of all survivors.  TSAS collaborates with other organisations to offer training in trauma informed practice and service delivery.

Student Placements

TSAS supports student placements including project and research work, group facilitation, community education and advocacy.  Due to complexity and privacy issues students are not offered direct counselling experience. For further information contact tsas@tsas.org.au.
